Jab, cross, hook, uppercut...

...that was me in Cardio Kick-Boxing today.  It was outstanding.

In other style-related news, today I'm featuring (wearing to work) this necklace I made a few weeks ago.  Sometimes I wake up and say things to myself like, "I think I'm going to design jewelry today", and then...well you get the picture.

A big part of why I started making my own clothes is because I never had a lot of money.  My friends and I would go to the mall, and I, being a big obnoxious snot, would say, "...psh, I can make that...", mainly because I didn't want to spend the money.  My love of being thrifty combined with my love of fashion are the tiny little seeds that germinated and became this budding blog.

...and I had to give a close-up on the shoes...I LOVE them - I've been looking for a pair like these (on the cheap) for a few months.  About 2 weeks ago, Forever 21 was donating 100% of their online profits to Japan, so I figured it was as good a reason as any to get a new pair o' kicks.
...and they are only slightly uncomfortable...
