Here comes the sun.

Literally. It's actually sunny out today.

So while I'm waiting for a sewing machine part to arrive in the mail to complete the Top Secret Black Ops Dress, I decided to make myself a lil' somethin'.  I needed a little more red in my wardrobe, so here's my double-layer crunchy cotton red skirt. Typing that gave me a craving for some Taco Bell.  Gross.  Anyway, here goes!

 

I made it slightly longer than I usually make my gathered skirts, and I think I'm sticking to this length. I this is going to be one of those skirts I live in all summer.  People will whisper about how often I probably don't do my laundry. Not often!  There, we've settled that one.
