I wasn't feeling the centered text. Chris said he's been "meaning to tell" me that too.  I wonder what else he's been "meaning to tell" me...

Last night was a very successful game night, in case you were wondering, which I'm sure you were.  Team A Real Rare Whale beat Team The Sweetest Bitch You'll Ever Meet by a landslide in Charoodles.  Actually, we can't remember who won because we were distracted by all the delicious pizzas made by Dori.

I took some pictures yesterday morning of what I wore to work on the nastiest day in April so far - I tried to edit them so they look like I wasn't standing in a cave. You be the judge. Go on...judge me.

 

So you may be thinking, "Cat! Are those new rainboots? You were JUST talking about your favorite non-rainboot-looking rainboots from Banana Republic - you just LOVED them! What happened?" 

Well...they sprung a leak! I am so sad to say, I've had them for a year and a half, they cost me way more than rainboots should cost, and my socks are soaked.  And there is nothing worse than wet socks.  So, I spent $39.99 on these babies by Chelsea Crew at Shoegasm on 23rd, they are an adorable shiny dark cherry red, and my socks are dry.

I feel so chic, so...Paddington Bear.
