Out like a....

I thought March was supposed to come "in like a lion, out like a lamb". It has actually gone out like a much more aggressive, colder, nastier lion.  Or maybe that's what lambs are like? Who knows - not me, I'm just here to sew.

Also, my birthday is at the end of March and not once in all my 28 years on God's green earth do I remember celebrating in nice weather, so why am I acting like this is a surprise?

So again, I dressed non-weather-appropriately.

I made this dress about a month ago.  I was going to make a skirt for a friend and naturally I jumped the gun on getting the fabric (because bright colors excite me - I mean c'mon, HOW could you not be in a good mood with this print on your back?)  It wasn't exactly her thing, so Cat ended up with a brand new dress! (Taylor, if you're reading this, thanks again!) So, I'm one more dress richer and she's got a new skirt coming her way.  

Everybody's happy.

Also, my mom said I should start looking at the camera.
