Things I didn't get at the flea...

Chris and I went to my 2nd favorite place (aside from my Lair) in the whole world: the Brooklyn Flea @ Fort Greene.  The leaves are turning green on the trees, its not raining, its Saturday and the Flea has begun.

It was a good day.

Here are some things I did not purchase:

This awesome sequined top.  Someone talked me out of it, I don't want to name names (Chris).  I have nothing flashy coming up to wear it to, this is true.  But it was in really good condition and minus the shoulder pads, we could have been a happy couple. Ah, well.

This small vintage suitcase. I don't go on many trips.

This child-size dress form.  I do want to start making childrens' clothes, but didn't like the price.  Plus, it was laying in a bed of doll heads and I just couldn't get on board with that.

I didn't actually want these, I just thought it was hilarious that at some point, someone actually purchased a button that said, "You'll have to marry me first!".  I could maybe understand the Jackie Gleason one...

I didn't even ask how much. It would be a tease to have it in the house with no place to put it and the burden of getting it fixed. But its so pretty.

I tried to haggle for a two-fer: creepy half-mannequin plus the old medical instruments.  Just couldn't get the price I wanted.

Its turning spring so I couldn't justify the cost.

The Pink Elephant & Rooster Team. I can't think of anything witty.
