It's Tuesday!

I literally had typed, "Its just another manic Monday" as my title, and then I realized...it's not Monday! Which means I owe you guys a post after a nice loooong weekend, and that I have a good title for next Monday.

I spent half the weekend sick, but the other half was wonderful!  I made this dress on Saturday to wear to my brother's Memorial Day party.  Maxi dresses were all the rage in Long Beach so I was right on trend.

Instead of gathering the skirt part, I did a whole bunch of irregular pleats which I thought made that part look a little flatter and flattering.  I thought it came out nice, huh?

In other news - Allie got married on Saturday!  I will post her professional pictures (or whatever I can get my hands on) whenever I can.  There was also a last minute emergency a.k.a. Allie did bikram yoga for two weeks straight and lost weight which we realized three days before the wedding.  She highly suggests it for losing those last few pounds and giving your designer a heart attack.
