Another little frock I cooked up for the 4th of July (different BBQ, I was a cool kid with tons of plans that weekend). My dear pal and beautiful recent-bride, Allie, gave me a gift card to Mood, and while I usually don't indulge myself in trips Mood, I got to splurge (all on myself, of course)! The recent Mint dress fabric was from there, as well as the striped maxi from a few posts ago. I'm stitchin' myself up a pretty fun summer wardrobe.
I normally don't work much with elastic, but I ran a thin strip through an interior self tunnel to cinch this guy in, so I don't have to wear a belt with it. This holiday's all about freedom, right?
