Out on the town

Here is dress #2 for my friend Jenna.  I made her the yellow striped maxi a few weeks ago, and she asked for another dress that she could dress up for night. 

A perk of this dress is that, paired with some dark tights and boots, its colors can bring you right into fall. I'm always thinking of how to maximize my wardrobe.  And since Chris and I didn't win the $220 million powerball last night, there are no lavish shopping sprees in my future.

Another perk of this dress is that I love it so much its going on the list of dresses I want to make for myself. - light flowy cotton with an elastic waist - can't go wrong.
