Flip this Dress: Shirt Edition

I bought this dress at a sample sale awhile back, didn't try it on till after the purchase because of the sample sale chaos. 

Tried it on in the bathroom at work, thought I loved it.

Wore it to our godson's christening, thought I loved it.

Saw a picture of myself it in: love affair over.

I'm just too short for the boxy cut. It's slightly big. It's shapeless.  Perfect candidate for a flip!

I wore shortened it, made some side gussets, wore it out on Tuesday night with skinny jeans, black flats and my fav red lipstick -  and I love it.  A new wardrobe staple. I'm a big fan of lace-y sleeves, have you noticed?
