Flip This Dress: Vintage Thrift Edition, Part I

Chris and I had planned a day of thrifting in Brooklyn on Sunday.  That "day of thrifting" turned into a visit to one thrift store and a spin around the Brooklyn Flea, but I did make a few good finds to flip.  Here's the first:  It was a bright pink-and-white printed frock, a little too long, and a little too frumpy.  Here's before / during images:

(removed the buttons, pockets, collar, sleeves & sewed up the front)

(marked the neckline)

(added a ruffle to the front)
