Roses and Cut-Outs

This dress is for an ol' classmate of mine from Scranton, Deidre.  You may remember this:

Well turns out, they ran out of the fabric.  Bummer.

But then I found this and we both agreed it was awesome:

Seriously, how pretty is this pattern?  I bought extra because I love it so much, not because I overshot the yardage.  No, it couldn't be that...
