Like a boss.

You may have noticed my absence here on ye olde blog - things have been a little cray:

First things first, we bought a house!  Yes, Chris and I have moved from the city streets of Astoria to the sunny suburban sprawl of Baldwin.  Its been a big adjustment, both commute-wise and cricket-wise, but we are settling in to our little old home and are excited to get it all unpacked and decorated.  One of the best parts?  A bigger, more awesome sewing studio.

Second of all, I got a new job!  Its bittersweet, since working at Jack Spade has been like a little family-away-from-home over the past 2.5 years but the time has come to move on to different challenges.  Calvin Klein Jeans, here I come!  Be prepared with coffee, new friends.

Third of all, here's a new dress I made for my current (for the next 4 days) manager and dear friend Brit.  Brit has been pretty much the best boss ever and is going to make some new employee (who will be New Cat) very happy and inspired on a daily basis.   This is a shorter version of the dress I made a few posts ago in a different colorway.  I think its my new fav.
