Chris and I ventured out on Saturday to shop small. This year, more than ever, the small businesses in our area need some post-Sandy support. I wanted some yarn for project, so I called a business near us that I thought would carry some. Even though they didn't, they referred me to another small business nearby that did, which I thought was just lovely.
They lead me to: The Knitting Store.
I'm made on a circle-scarf (or snood, if you're fancy)... and its the next Cat Got Dressed Giveaway!

I love most everything you do, but one of your projects that I loved the most were your blankets made from tee shirts from Camp DeBaun. Although I never went there, there is definitely a sentimental feeling for the place from a lot of Oceansiders, and this is a great way to preserve those memories!

Also I already "Like" you on facebook and follow you on instagram and Twitter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway. It would make a lovely gift if I didn't want to keep it for myself hehe.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many great projects to choose from, but I really love the black lace shift with pockets. All dresses should have pockets! I was also touched by your baby blanket project- so sweet! I wish I could sew or knit (it's on my bucket list!)
