January showers bring...

It has been downright gloomy here in New York.  I think that's why I was drawn to this gorgeous silk fabric last week.  It is positively uplifting, and cheery and soft as all get-out, so I had to make something.

I actually followed through the whole process and copied the muslin pattern onto pattern paper instead of, well, losing it.  Now I have it in a little envelope with a little sketch on it so I can make it over and over again.  Which is great because... it is on sale!

Yes ladies (and gentlemen), I have opened up a little online shop, and this is the first item.

In all honesty, this has been a goal that I've had for a very long time now, and I've put it off and made excuses about not having a full collection to present, but hey - I'm just one gal.  I have no events coming up, and I can't stop myself from making things, so I'll just be tossing them in the shop.  Stay tuned for more items, and please know that while they only exist in my size, they can be made for anyone.
