I'm working on another Lacey Peplum for a lovely lady named Caitlin who saw my feature on Sarah's Blog. Before cutting out the fabric, I copied the pattern to grid paper. This is going to be my process from now on. So many times I get an order for a dress or top and I KNOW I have that pattern somewhere in the muslin pile of pattern pieces. But no matter how much I try to pin things together and label them, they always get separated. This way, I will have sturdier patterns in labeled envelopes, and everything will be easy to find. This came out of a complete organization of the sewing room and makes this girl breathe just a little bit easier.
What are some things you do to de-stress?
