So welcome to my blog! I'm still figuring out what exactly this monster will be, but until then, I hope you enjoy my postings. Allow me to introduce myself...

I'm Cat!

I'm a designer / dress maker and all-around style lover.
I love (and try my best to collect) vintage bags.
I spend all of my spare time sewing.
I spend the rest of my time avoiding blame for the thread all over the apartment.
I'm planning a wedding that happens to be my own (& Chris's). I think it's going to be stupendous.

Now that we're all friends, I give to you...the Yellow Dress!

..the whole concept of taking pictures of myself is still a bit strange so I'm avoiding eye contact...like I do at the DMV...

The weather last week was so amazing and rapidly turned disgusting. So, I decided to will the sunshine back out with this snappy little number. I decided this weekend that I NEEDED a bright yellow dress for the summer - so I hit up my favorite place, Astoria Fashion Fabrics, and the rest is history.
