When you take your time...

...this is what happens.

I made this dress for no particular reason whatsoever beyond the fact that I loved the lace and it was inexpensive.  Therefore I wasn't stressed about finishing it in time.  Therefore I didn't skip steps.  Therefore, it came out exactly how I wanted it to.  Therefore I love it.

I hand trimmed around the lace detail at the bottom to give it a natural-y looking edge.  So glad I didn't skip this step!

This dress is perfect for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner - anything weddingy!  We are down to the less-than-three-month mark and I've got wedding fever.  Soon I'll post a little montage of all the weddingish looks I've created over the past year.  Stay tuned!
