Flip This Dress: Collar Edition

So my pal Taylor bought a little sweater with this collar on it at a sample sale - gorgeous! But it kept snagging the sweater threads, so she decided she wanted to flip it to another top - Voila! I  made a simple sleeveless shell with darts in the front and back, and then popped the collar on.  And by "popped", I mean spent an hour and a half detaching the collar from the sweater thread by thread since it was basically knitted on to it and then hand-sewed it onto the black shell.  Easy-peasy.
