Coloring

One of my favorite activities to do with our niece Chloe and nephew Logan is coloring.  It used to be my favorite thing as a kid, since I loathed the outdoors and all non-dancing related physical activity.  I was perfectly content to sit at the kitchen table with a Crayola 64 pack and some Barbie coloring books.  I loved coloring in all the lips red first and then going onto the rest.  So weird.

I think that's why I love sketching so much today.  My drawing and painting classes in school were always the best - 3-4 solid hours of just sitting there, doing that.  Heaven: big-kid coloring. Not Heaven: the price.  Have you bought Prismacolors lately? Sheesh!

 She sort of looks like Lisa from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
