This has been one of those weeks where it feels like there are nine workdays instead of five. And it rained for half of them - but - lets look on the bright side and think about how gorgeous it was out on Thursday (Which is today. I'm getting a head start on Friday's post) if you were in the NY-Metro area. It makes me want to wear fun flowered skirts - like this one!
I bought this fabric a long time ago and it sat on my shelf (or in a heap of fabric on the floor, same thing) for months until I finally decided to work with it. It was time. I made a little strapless dress (soon to be featured) and this skirt. A two-fer!

Now I'm off to eat a delish steak-and-potato dinner (Chris's specialty) and watch Campus PD.
(Chris informed me today that he likes being a silent feature in this blog, "like the mom in Charlie Brown", and also that he's a new fan of red wine. I fell in love all over again.)
Tell Chris the male readers demand his quips. And that I applaud his conversion to red wine. Steak deserves a good red wine.
