Here's the story: One of my oldest and dearest friends (Michelle!) got married last year, and I made her this dress for her honeymoon. We were both so busy and weren't able to meet for me to measure her. So -I'm not going to name names here - one of us trusted the other to measure herself and that particular individual used a straight ruler and a piece of ribbon. One of us also overestimated her boobs. Again, not naming names. So the time finally came a year later to get this thing altered
And wouldn't you know - its on-trend now!

Its also interesting to see how I was constructing things a year ago -- what a difference twelve months makes! ...talking to myself in the sewing room going, "I would NEVER construct an armhole like that, what is WRONG with you Cat??"
