I'll take your snow...

So yesterday I tried to bribe Mother Nature with The Yellow Dress in return for spring.  She gave me hail.

In return, I have spaghetti straps. Take that.

So I made The Calico Dress on Saturday, took it for a test drive Saturday night, and made some updates last night - and I'm super happy with how it came out!  I winterized it with some tights / boots and threw on a scarf later for work.

So here's what she looks like on the form. I'm slightly smaller than the dressform, hence the strange back view, but you get the idea...right?

Now I'm off to drink wine and sew.
