Showers of happiness

I gotta tell you...I needed this.

After the last dress I made (the awful one we try not to speak of), I needed a good one.  I needed one that made me happy, that I was proud of, that I jumped up and down and did the 'cabbage patch' dance for. 

This is it.

 Ever rosette is hand-gathered and sewed on individually.  Very therapeutic, I assure you


My dear friend Dori's bridal shower is coming up and her sister asked me to make a dress for her.  The design was a pseudo-surprise, but here is the finished product.  I will literally be making myself the exact same dress in a different color the second I give this one to her.  Maybe it sounds like I'm tooting my own horn...but toot-toot.  This dress is awesome.
