Cat Got Dressed initially started as more of an Outfit-of-the-Day blog (with my handmade designs mixed in), since I had just started following a bunch a few years ago and loved the concept - a fashion diary, a journal of your hits and misses. It slowly morphed into a forum where I could showcase all the handmade projects that I have been making forever. It all started through word-of-mouth, and before I knew it, I was making wedding dresses for people I had never met! I now have an online shop open and enjoy being able to quickly send out orders, while still creating custom pieces and vintage refurbishes for clients too. I love being able to scroll back through the years and see my progress in work (as well as outfit choices!). The feedback and comments and project suggestions I get from friends and followers are what help keep everything fresh and exciting. Its a lot of work, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
